MEETING OF INTERNATIONAL TEAM OF CULTURE EDUCATORS IN GDANSK
On 11-13th January in Gdansk, in Laznia Centre of Contemporary Arts (Poland) was organized the meeting of education specialists from other institutions from Russia and Lithuania participating in the international project „Close Stranger”. They have shared their knowledge and experience about exhibitions “9 000 km”, “The Meetings” and subject Art in Public Space. The displays within the framework of this project will be opened in Gdansk in January, on April in Klaipeda and on June in Kaliningrad.
THE YEAR STARTS WITH THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR THE EU EXHIBITION "TELLING THE BALTIC"
The exhibition „Telling the Baltic“ is a part of the project “Close Stranger: promoting mutual understanding between population of Gdansk, Kaliningrad and Klaipeda through facilitation of exchange in the field of contemporary arts and culture“ implemented within the framework of „ENPI Cross-border Cooperation programme 2007-2013 for Lithuania, Poland and Russian Federation“, where KCCC participates as a partner.
International team of culture educators will share their experience in Klaipėda
Today, on 27 November, cultural education specialists will gather to a workshop in Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC), where KCCC representatives and their colleagues from other institutions from Poland and Russia participating in the international project „Close Stranger“ will share their experience gained during public presentation of the international contemporary art project „Telling the Baltic“; an exhibition within the framework of this project will be opened in Klaipėda in December.
