CREATION BETWEEN SCIENCE AND AESTHETICS AT KCCC EXHIBITION HALL

KCCC Exhibition Hall (Didžioji Vandens g. 2, Klaipėda) starts this new year by searching for contact points between natural scientific knowledge areas and types of art expression, between natural evolutionary processes that happen in nature and artificial selection same as searches of newly nascent forms.

Cognitive and creative excursions

Groups of students, young people and adults are invited to attend cognitive excursions in order to expand the limits of art conception in Latvian artist‘s Gints Gabrans‘s  contemporary art exhibition „Mutant selection“. KCCC Exhibition Hall‘s project is unique: every visitor is able to originally contribute to this project and your own creative evolution. Also we would like to invite you to experiment and search for unusual silhouettes and forms that awake your imagination. Let‘s charm by pouring hot wax, select ideal fragments and play the creative game while arranging on the flat.

Creative Saturdays for families and young people

January 30 and February 6. Activities intended to liberation, coincidences and mistakes. The most famous scientists were able to create the most unexpected inventions that determined the progress of humanity only by raising hypotheses and making mistakes for a million times.

January 30, 11:15 a.m. During creative activity „Monsters‘ little workshop“ let yourself search for your own imperfectly perfect talisman while making felt pendants „little bugaboos“ .

February 6, 11:15 a.m. „House of glass and wax“ invites you to change the conception of idea „the perfect shape“. Let‘s newly remould ordinary candles and create the unusual design from combinations of hot coloured wax.
