END OF THE YEAR – FOR ENDLESS CREATIVITY

On the brink of 2016, KCCC Exhibition hall (Didžioji Vandens str. 2, Klaipėda) would like to invite you to keep walking the labyrinths of knowledge and creation and to explore the links between visual and conceptual art.

By visiting R. Treigys retrospective exhibition “Territories: Photographs 1987-2015” and the exhibition „Lithuanian Photography: Yesterday and Today. Today’s Exposure“ organized by the Union of Lithuanian Art Photographers, do not forget the idea generation and experimenting at the creative workshops. We would like to invite you to register adult, youth and student groups to educational tours and alternative educational activities.

Alternative educational activities:

Creative workshop „Ceramics Not For Sweet Tooth. Imprint“; featured game „Picture Puzzles“; educational workshop „Monotype between photography and painting“.

By the end of the year of the seniors we would like to pay attention to the communities of the older generation as well. The KCCC Exhibition hall would like to invite senior groups to visit and participate in cognitive tours to the exhibitions open in December and enjoy their time during free creative activities.

11^th December “Monotype. Lace” – creative workshop of graphics (groups of 7–10 persons).

17^th December “Textile + Tapestry” – creative workshop of free expression (groups of 7–10 persons).

Family and youth weekends

Creative activities for family and youth weekends of the last month of the year are going to be dedicated to the light. In order not to get overpowered by the darkness of the longest nights and to embrace the burst of festive moods, let’s organize and go back to the primeval source of light and warmth – the flame. Later, let’s step back from the old times and design some light shades and luminous decorations.

5^th December, 11.00 Glass & Wax House III: Candle Carving & Decorating (for youth and families with children from 8 years and older).

12^th, 19^th December, 11.00 Luminous Decorations Workshop (for youth and families with children from 10 years and older).
