FAMILIES AND YOUNG PEOPLE SATURDAY DEDICATED TO FELT

On a last windy and soggy January Saturday an activity with warm and soft wool took place at KCCC Exhibition Hall. This creative activity, requiring accuracy and concentration, but also enabling to disassociate from everyday cares, was offering to rethink the stereotypes of a beautiful accessory and let yourself experience wool‘s, as an industrial raw material‘s, shaping possibilities. Challenges were waiting for participants, who know felt technique, but most of them felt „felties“ with a needle for the first time: breaking needles and… one or two pricked fingers.
