MAY EDUCATIONAL EVENTS

Klaipėdos culture communication centre‘s (KCCC) Exhibition house (Didžioji Vandens st. 2) in May  invites you to guided tours through exhibitions, creative activities for family and youth. People of every age and interest are invited to know art world and to participate in art perceiving events.

Excursion Wednesdays

 Wednesdays in Exhibition house are special, because on that day all exhibitions are for free.

We especially invite students and pupil groups on guided tours and exhibitions. This month visitors can have a look at Retrospective photography exhibition „ Lets enter a New World” by Vitas Luckus and a Maritime design exhibition „ Past – Present – Future” by academy of Fine arts in Gdansk. Free guided tours through exhibitions for students and pupils will be on May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th. Registration is required by e-mail gabija@kkkc.lt

 Family and youth Saturdays

On Saturdays KCCC  Exhibition house invites families to not only educational activities and relaxation from days work and routine but also to variously educate their family members. Registration is required by e-mail gabija@kkkc.lt

1p.m. 9 May,  family weekend „ My ship“ : seascape painting workshop. In educational activities you will see maritime design exhibition, marinistic paintings, and get to know who are famous seascape artists, also watch their works and create your own painting.

 1p.m.16 May, family weekend „Photography workshop”. During this educational workshop you will get to know how to use your environment, colors and forms when you want to get a pretty photographic composition. In educational activity we will “shoot” city, self, and family members. Bring your digital cameras.

 1. p.m. 23 May, family weekend „Family portrait”, during education we will talk about painting techniques and create impressive painting.

 1p.m. 30th May, family weekend „ My and mosaic”, we will create colorful and impressive mosaics from outdoor pebbles. Mosaic essence is mosaics to create a painting from individual pieces, so thus taking the excitement and inspiration from the exhibitions we will try to combine the resulting experience, because in a sense everything around us is a mosaic.
