OBJECT II – FROM TANGIBLE MATTER TO ABSTRACT SHAPE ON THE FLAT

On February 4^th photography hobby group‘s members of Klaipėda Vydūnas Gymnasium participated in an alternative art activity „Hot wax, cold water“, arranged by KCCC Exhibition Hall. Mostly we adapt our educational activities next to the projects or exhibitions which are present in our space during that time. Symbiosis of modern art processes and aesthetic education and training was also applied in this case: together with visual and verbal information of Latvian artist’s Gints Gabrans’s exhibition „Mutant selection” activity members also gained the experience of practical art process. Students were able to familiarize with object‘s transformation and evolution path from „self-organized“ objects formed from molten mass to abstract line and spot images in monotype imprints.
