THE SEARCH OF SCIENTIFIC AESTHETICS IN ARTISTIC CREATION

KCCC Exhibition Hall proceeds the started year with the suggestion to search for points of aesthetic balance among art and scientific theories as well as technological devices.

During the tour at Julijonas Urbonas‘ exhibition „Prototypes of Alternative Realities“ groups of pupils, students and adults will come across the art objects, based on the laws of physics, states of free fall and weightlessness. During the alternative education session young visitors of KCCC Exhibition Hall are invited to create basic flying toys, decorated with ornaments, and to enchant aesthetics fluttering in the air.

Creative Saturdays for families and youth

Starting point of creative tasks in February‘s educational program – aesthetic  kinetics, optical illusion and spatial objects. March is for non-binding creation work.

February 20, 11:15 a.m. Optical art. Elementary illusion for children. For families with children over the age of 5 and youth.

February 27, 11:15 a.m. Kinetic art. Production  and instalation of wind mills in KCCC Exhibition Hall yard. For families with children over the age of 5 and youth.

March 5, 11:15 a.m. Earth art. Creation of spatial objects from small-sized stones. For families with children over the age of 5 and youth.

March 12, 11:15 a.m. „Painting with soap bubbles“. For families with children over the age of 5.

March 19, 11:15 a.m. „Connection“. Synthesis of photography and monotype. For families with children over the age of 12 and youth.

Educational sessions are charged (adults – 1,74 EUR; students, pupils, disabled, retired persons providing documents – 0,87 EUR). Advance registration by e-mail edukacija@kkkc.lt or by phone 8 602 21167 is necessary.
