Simon Nicaise
Simon Nicaise on July lived and created in KCCC residency 06.25-07.22.
19th July from 5.30 pm in KCCC Arts courtyard (Baznyciu str. 4, Klaipeda) will be presented radio duuuradio.fr, which was funded by group of artists, among whom is S. Nicaise as well. During the presentation of the radio among music and art pieces will be broadcasted conversations with local artists, critics and curators.
Simon Nicaise (born 1982, lives and works in Paris) is representative of young generation, working mainly with installations.
His works were already shown widely in France (Palais de Tokyo, FIAC, Musée d’Art Moderne de la ville de Paris, Dominique Fiat gallery, Paris) and internationally (Belgium, Germany, Switzerland).
Simon Nicaise is one of the participants of the project „A Pledge. The First Part of a Trick“ (curator: Neringa Bumblienė). His exhibition, as part of the project, will be presented in KCCC on 5 p.m. 19th of July, 2013.
