“Is She Coming?” is a group exhibition, presenting the works of the debut artists of the youngest generation Agnė Masilionytė, Austėja Masliukaitė, Saulė Miežytė and Aistė Marija Stankevičiūtė.

The exhibition offers a closer look at the issues raised by a generation of creators who grew up already in times of Youtube and the endless web browsing, and aims to reveal their creative reflections on today’s hybridisation processes of virtual and real worlds, the issues of body, gender, popular culture, media and their perception.

Desires and imagination, simulations and stimulations – (un)real situations – intertwine in the works of the artists: artificial sun – in the light installation of Saulė Miežytė; computer-generated vocalisation of pleasure/pain – in the audio installation of Aistė Marija Stankevičiūtė; cyber hanging around on the streets of doxyspotting – in the work of Agnė Masilionytė; inedible candy and fake desires – in the object of Austėja Masliukaitė.
