“Baltic Landscapes”: a presentation of international art project

«Baltic Landscapes» is a Russian—Swiss-Russian artists-in-residence project that aims to create a website with audio-visual map of Kaliningrad region seacoast. The event will take place from the 3rd to 16th of October and will involve 10 sound and graphic designers. On the 16th of October Klaipeda Culture Communication Centre will host a presentation on the project results: a short curators’ talk and live session of audio-visual landscapes which will have been produced by the artists during two weeks. Door opens at 4 PM, entrance price – 2,5 Eu.

«Baltic Landscapes» is an international cultural and educational project that aims to create a unique multimedia product — a website with an audio-visual map of Kaliningrad region seacoast.

The project will last from the 3rd to 16th of October as a research and artists-in-residence work of 10 sound and graphic designers from Russia and Switzerland. The full program also includes live concerts and public events. The results will be shown within a live-session in Svetlogorks (Children Art School) and Klaipeda (Centre for Culture and Communication).

«Baltic Landscapes» is managed by Kollektiv, artists-in-residence and workshop program, and supported by Swiss Embassy in Moscow and Pro Helvetia / Swiss made in Russia program in partnership with Baltic branch of National Centre of Contemporary Art, Baltic Federal University of Immanuel Kant and Ministry of Tourism in Kaliningrad Region.
